Africa is large and holds intelligent proverbs that are being transferred from one country to another African country. Most of the sayings, quotes and proverbs depict Africa's past present and future.

It takes a whole village to raise a child. This proverb has been said unto single mothers as an encouragement, that they wont be on their own, one neighbour will come with a method of how to feed, some how to cloth, some how to put to bed, and that in African culture is considered as you do need your neighbours to raise a child.
