Xhosa people, Their Clans & Living in South Africa as a Xhosa

The Xhosa people mostly dominate the South Africa provinces, Eastern Cape, East London and Cape Town. Their name comes of the Xhosa leader, uXhosa. What was known as Transkei was a place where you would find Xhosa speaking people. But now in the 21 century the Xhosa well established in the rest of South Africa.

Xhosa people also belong to the Nguni tribe. If you listen to their language, isiXhosa, it is very much similar to IsiZulu.

IsiXhosa has many clicks than IsiZulu, and they are mostly pronounced the same; C, X, Q.

When the Afrikaner people first set foot in Cape Town, they were met the Xhosa people.
